This week we welcomed Robbie who starts his new role as a Program Coordinator at St John’s Care.
Robbie was born in Canberra and accompanied his parents on a diplomatic posting to the Middle East, where he spent 5 years at an international school in Beirut.
After returning to Australia, Robbie attended Burgmann Anglican School, before completing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Canberra.
He began his professional career with LJ Hooker before joining Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) as a Coordinator on their Department of Home Affairs’ account. Robbie was responsible for facilitating one of the largest office relocations in the department’s recent history.
He writes, “I have been fortunate enough to grow up around, and interact with, people from a diverse range of backgrounds and social settings while living overseas and within our community.
I look forward to drawing on these experiences, as well as my Psychology qualifications, to provide care and support to those most in need within our community.
I am energized by empowering individuals and providing them with tailored support to become self-sufficient and valued voices within our community.
I enjoy playing team sports and am an avid sports fan.
I am looking forward to working with the St John’s Care team to support vulnerable members of the community along the pathway to achieving economic and personal well-being, social participation, independence and community connectedness.”
If you have any questions about how you can donate money or items to assist those doing it tough in our community, please feel free to call us on 6248 7771 and one of our staff or volunteers will be able to assist you.
