St John's Care gratefully acknowledges the generous financial, in-kind donations and support from community and church groups, schools, businesses and so many individuals who help us care for those doing it tough in our community.

Anglicare is the social justice arm of the Anglican Church. It's mission is to tackle disadvantage, helping children and families break free from the cycle of poverty. We give thanks for the partnership between St John's Care and Anglicare. 

The Snow Foundation improves the lives of those who are disadvantaged in Canberra, the surrounding region and beyond. We give thanks for the support the Foundation gives to St John's Care.

OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, collecting quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivering it to more than 1000 charities supporting people in need across the country, including St John's Care.

Orange Sky Laundry is a free mobile laundry service for the homeless. The van visits our Centre on the first Friday of the month during our monthly Community Lunch.

A women’s charity that makes a real, on-the-ground difference to homeless women and victims of domestic violence.

The Rainbow Paws Program supports pets and their people by providing free pet food and products in addition to subsidised boarding, desexing and vet costs.

St John’s Anglican church (1841), which dates back to the earliest days of European settlement in this area, is alive in the twenty-first century with people of all ages. Our ministries include St John’s Care which is located on the St John's Precinct.   

Each month parishioners collect groceries at Cooleman Court from members of the public. They also provide financial assistance for St John's Care to buy items for Christmas Hampers.  

Parishioners regularly collect groceries at the Jamison Plaza.

We also thank: The Victoria Shakesphere Trust, students from Radford College, Burgmann College, Canberra Girls Grammar and Campbell High School,  ACT Motorcycle Riders Association's annual toy run, staff from the Department of Jobs and Small Business who volunteered at our Christmas Present Room, ESG Matchworks, the Rotary Clubs of Canberra and Canberra North, Lyons Club of Canberra, Canberra Airport Group, NDIS Social Club, Christ Church Hawker, Good Shepherd Anglican Church, St Paul's Ginninderra and St Simon's Kaleen.
